28 years. Translation cycle for Saturn. Maturation cycle for us.
Although it is a concrete reality for all, age carries greater weight in women.

Saturn_XX is a work in progress. The images are portraits, resultant of on-camera multiple exposures, that aim to convey an interpretation of the ungraspable identity, mutant, and in constant transformation, and also the notion of pervasive collectivity, in which we find a spectrum of possibilities on how to exist as a woman.
The mysticism around this phase is thus mirrored through the methodology of portraiture. Each portrait is the result of the insistence on luminous presence. Each woman emulsifies the film as many times as their ages, in a symbolic gesture of representing the passage of time, and the impermanence, while serving the visual purpose of dissolving into a unified ensemble. The result brings forth phantasmagoric presences and suggestions of layers that cohabit between the visible and the invisible.
